It is with great regret that I have to inform you that I have had to uninstall your wonderful patch, as it appears to have been causing problems with TV, particularly that TV would stop playing and return me to the EPG after 1-2 seconds. Please see my thread about this here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/bugreports-74/livetv-stops-straight-after-starting-101880/

It may be some combination of your patch, Avira Antivir and Outpost Security Suite led to the problem, but these two programs seem to co-exist OK with MP now that I've uninstalled your patch.

I do hope you are able to find and fix the problem, as it was nice having subtitles work in a normal way and I think it will be quite important to my brother, whom I'm building a MP box for.

All the logs on p.1 of that thread were made with the patch. I can't see that reinstalling the patch and making more logs would be useful, but if there's something specific you want me to do, please let me know.

OK, I can do that and also run MP in Debug Mode to see if that makes any difference.

Regarding the mysql errors are they in the MediaPortal.log and do you have any suggestions on how I can fix/eliminate them, or is that not particularly important?

OK, I tested in Debug Mode and didn't experience this problem, although it doesn't always happen so I'll try running in this mode some more to see if it happens.

I then tested in normal mode (StreamedMP skin), with the plugins you referred to disabled and MP locked up. I selected a channel and nothing happened and after waiting a few seconds (it takes a while for TV to start) I found I could still navigate the EPG, so it may be that it just didn't receive the remote input the first time. Then I selected the channel again and after waiting again I found it had locked up.

I don't know how to fix mysql error (maybe a network/firewall issue) i know that a friend @ work with outpost has always pb, so he remove it lol and seems better (Problem not related to MP lol but other thing). It's maybe also PSClientPlugin, not sure
