    The scheduler is not working.
Last update from WebGrab was the 17th (2 days ago)
The task scheduler has the grab-epg.exe in it and shows its running but nothing is updated.
I ran the grab-epg.exe manually and it does nothing.

Should there be some type of option for the scheduler so it knows what to do with grab-epg.exe?

    Hi.
You're right, I forgot to adjust the grabepg helper tool. It works with all sources excerpt for TVGuide...
Simply replace the file with the attached one and the scheduler should work.

The new TV Guide function is not creating a channel xml file in the Web Grab folder
As a result, all grabs are getting all programs for All channels, not just the ones picked by the user in the application.
I have about 20 channels I marked as good.

The grabber is pulling in 88 channels.

    Hi.
Encrypt or block the showing of users passwords in the config and log files.
The AutoIt config files do not support encryption so I'm not able to encrypt this in the config file. The password in log is for debugging purposes only and will be removed for final version...

The new TV Guide function is not creating a channel xml file in the Web Grab folder
Yes, this is by design. Tvguide.com is completely independent of WebGrab now. You don't need (or use) WebGrab any longer for grabbing EPG data from tvguide. EPG-Buddy grabs the data directly without the help of WebGrab. As EPG-Buddy does a direct data download and not a parsing of the website page per page (like WebGrab) the download is much, much faster than with WebGrab. So there is no need or use in creating a "channels.xml" file for WebGrab.

If you nevertheless want to use Webgrab (e.g for channels not available on tvguide.com) you can do it exactly as before, Select the siteini you want to use, select the channels from this siteini and then create the WebGrab Config... You only need to do this as an addition to tvguide, if your lineup did not cover all of your channels. As then only a very few channels are needed to process by WebGrab the much longer download times are not too important.

I'm using TVSpielfilm that is working for me exactly the same as tvguide works for you. In earlier days we only could use TVSpielfilm with the help of WebGrab, similar as it was up to now with tvguide. But since the direct support in EPG-Buddy for both (TVSpielfilm and tvguide) WebGrab is no longer needed to get EPG data from those sites.

I'm still using WebGrab, but only as an addition for those four channels not available at TVSpielfilm. My WebGrab.Config.xml contains four channels, and my EPG has data for 62 channels....

The grabber is pulling in 88 channels.
For the channels list it needs to grab all channels. But EPG Data only is grabbed for those channels you set the mark at "{Insert Channel Name here} grab from TVGuide?"

In this example the channel "ION Shop TV" will not get any EPG data as the option is unticked:

After doing a Grab, the channels I Unticked are now Ticked again....
Something is happening During the grab that causes the settings to be reset
