Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to use colored EPG using Schedules Direct Plugin. I'm not sure if something has to be setup differently because I can't see any colors in the TV Guide.

    Hello

The answer to your question is: it depends entirely on whether the SD data/plugin provides genre info.

Sorry about that, I'll be more careful next time. SD does provide Genre info I'm just not sure how the plugin transfers the SD to Mediaportal so I can't tell if the genre information is being transfered or not. :(

So I think I figured it out. I used XMLTV to get an XML copy of what Schedules Direct offers and attached a program excerpt below. It seems SD calls genres as catagories which is why the colors aren't showing up in the EPG. Is that something that is easy to fix? Or should I try to contact the author of the SD Plugin for MP?

    Thanks,
    Rob

Hi This is a general question about OnX. I have been using the TvWishList plugin for a while and have recently updated (update install) from MP 1.36 x86 to 1.37 x86 and found there seemed to be no Onx menu in the TV guide. I then configured the onx.presets.xml file like I would normally do with updates or fresh installs, but still...

I tried importing your "TvGuide.xml" file into MP 1.37 64-bit running on Windows 10. If your XMLTV guide isn’t populating, setting up an EPG Collector can solve the issue by giving you control over your guide data. This tool lets you customize the EPG to match your needs, ensuring accurate and complete listings. The main benefit of using an EPG Collector is flexibility. You can pull data from reliable sources, adjust...

@antidot Thank you for your newzap2xml.exe. It worked perfectly. I had to remap chanels. Maybe because I ran it on a different less critical Windows 11 with Defender disable. Then copied xmltv.xml / tvguide.xml to my TVServer Windows machine. Remapping needed maybe because out of sync with the xmltv.dtv or I don't know. Anyway all...
