    Hi Jacob.

I will try downgrading ATI driver to 11.4 - furthermore I'll try to make a cable connection to my router - Just to see if it resolves anything

I sometimes do have some bad signal problem on 2 different Terratec DVB-C tuners - but this is very rare.

I come from a sijngle seat setup where both tuners work flawlessly on the exact same DVB-C signal with long Coax cables - also with the same "bad signal" errors.

So with that in mind, I expect that the current setup should be able to handle streaming without any signal/corruption issues.

P.S In my opinion Tsreader should be able to compensate for discontinuties over wireless network - The stream is heavily disrupted over 2-5 secs. due to very minor discontinuties(see logs) - Can't corupted/discontinued packets be renegotiated before being dispalyed like buffering?

    I'll be back:)

    /Morten

If you use the UNC paths option, that's what will happen - but this means it uses up more network bandwidth when packets are dropped.....

The UNC paths option is definately the fastest also but it has flaws to. Sometimes the picture freezes and you get this in the logs which just happened to me right now.

It will keep going like that and you have to kil MP to get out.

I have always had this problem and postet about it before but there has been no fix so far. Sometimes there is days in between this happening but when i does it locks up the whole system. Not god for the WAF.

I'll also try the UNC option, just to see, if it resolves anything here - or if i'll end up with the above issue as well.

    Hi Tony,

Im sorry to say that its worse :(

With v45 channel changes now takes 5-6 seconds. With 1.2.1 it takes 2-3 seconds.

Logs attached. Note that i have switched back to rtsp since the UNC path option sometimes fails on me (see post above)

    Logs attached.

    Regards
    Jacob

    Hello,
For many years i have had a lot off problems with zapping, sound problem, videoproblem, tried most off existing codecs etc.
I have tried many off the Experimental TsReader and i think this is the best result ever. For this test i used PVD11 codecs for Video and LAV for Audio.
With V45, channel changes takes 2-3 sec (2 off 40 changes was slower: around 6 sec).

Owlsroost: Thanks for your work :)

    Hi Roynes,

How about original 1.2.1 tsreader. Maybe thats even faster? Could you try it out? Im sure Tony would appreciate if you could post logs from a few channel changes with both V45 and 1.2.1

    You can find 1.2.1 here:

Weird. I don't see significant speed improvments with 1.2.1, but I see a lot of discontinuties which are all gone with noStopMod44...
