Care to explain that? No idea what you mean

Ya know, people say "When I get around to it". Here's your round to it. I guess it's just dumb American humor.![]()
And the idea was to load the information in English unless the show is a German original (like Edel & Starck or Berlin, Berlin).

nylonhof
I see. The question is how do I know it's a german original? There is no Country field. Also, the Edel&Strack entry on the DB is wrong, it's info is in german but under the english language (may I assume you did that so you would get the behaviour you want?)
Is it possible to have the unwatched number of episodes be the number of episodes that are unwatched out of those that you actually have?
Currently I download the details for whole series at a time rather than for individual episodes as I get them. For example, I might have 2 of the 11 series of Amazing Race, but I download the details for all 11 series should I get other ones at another time.
If there are details for 11 episodes of a series and I have 8 but haven't watched 4 is it possible to have the unwatched episodes listed as 4 rather than 7 (4 unwatched and 3 that I don't have)?
Perhaps there is a way to do it currently, I'm not sure.
It should behave this way if the setting "show only episodes with a local file" is on. No? And where/how do you see Unwatched episodes in respect with this question?

Inker,
I checked what I was doing and I have 'Show only episodes with a local file' ticked and 'Don't clear local reference for missing files' unticked.
I am following a guide from one of the stickies and putting <Series.UnwatchedItems> in the Series Main InfoPane Format. It will list the number of unwatched episodes as those that I have and haven't watched along with those that I don't have. Eg: for Dexter it will list 1 unwatched episode as I have a listing for Season 2 Episode 1 (from downloading all series info), but don't have the file.
The same thing happens if I use <Season.UnwatchedItems> in a Season listing.
I am currently using V.95 and MP0.2.2.0 stable. I tried V1.0 under my version of MP, but got an error so I assume it is geared towards 0.2.3.0RC1. Perhaps this has been fixed in a later version than what I am using?
Thanks.
Congrats on the V1 release Inker and Co!
One feature I'd like to see in the next version slightly "smarter" switching between views.
For example, if I'm in the "Unwatched" view and browsing a tv series (say Lost) and I realise the episode I want to watch is already flagged as "watched" then I have to change to the "All" view to see it.
Moving to the "All" view drops me back to the tvseries main page with all the show banners (that's not a bad thing in itself), but with a different show highlighted - not Lost as is expected. It'd be nice if the plugin respected what show you were browsing when you switch between views and intelligently maintains your selection.
Even better, if you switch views it should retain the screen you were on. For example, using the same example above, browsing Lost episodes in Season 3, switching between "All" and "Unwatched" views should stay in the same show/season browse view (but with watched/unwatched shows displayed depending on the view).
Does that make sense? Just a little usability tweak that I find I come up against every day and feel could be improved upon.
Finally I'd like to give a thumbs up to the "partially watched" idea raised by another poster in this thread. I can see this as possibly being awkward to implement tho. A simple way would be to simply set the watched flag when the video finishes, rather than at the start. That could cause problems with ppl stopping in the credits tho and the video not stricting hitting the end.
There is another side-effect of setting the watched flag at the start of the video - if you bring up the OSD mid-episode it displays the show synopsis that is usally hidden to prevent spoilers. If the above method was used, the synopsis would be hidden until the show was completely watched (not partially).
Just a few ideas. Keep up the good work!
another request: When entering My Series, it would be great if it would remember what show I was watching last, and then automatically scrolling down to it and selecting it. I think it did it in a previous releasse, but I am not sure.

Inker said:I'm not sure actually, I'll need to check that. But you should really upgrade, I didn't know it doesn't work with 2.2 anymore and frankly I have no idea why it wouldn't. Hardly anything has changed as far as Interaction with MP goes.
