Thanks Helios. I did a testrun on "Nightmare on Elm Street - Mörderische Träume (1984) (tt0087800).mkv" (created a dummy file from your screenshot) and it was imported fine.

Can you please refresh the movie and see, if the problem persists? Sometimes a movie is not imported correctly, when ofdb website doesnt respond in time. The ofdb servers just arent as fast and reliable as the imdb ones... Unfortunately there is very little I can do about that. Usually a refresh fixes it, though.

I've tried your program, as I see it is not still around.(english for runaways)

joking aside

i named my file:

James Bond 007 (1962) - jagt Dr.No
James Bond 007 (1963) - Liebesgrüsse aus Moskau
James Bond 007 (1964) - Goldfinger
.......
etc.
The result is poor, most movies found as "James Bond 007 (1983)"

I know you wrote that the imdb no. helps.

Can you revise it, so that i do not have rename all my films.
That would be very nice. (Mein Dank wird Dir immer nachschleichen)

tut mir leid, aber nein, das lässt sich leider nicht ändern. Die Scraper funktionieren dermaßen, dass der Dateiname als Filmtitel angenommen wird und danach wird dann in den Filmdatenbanken gesucht, wenn keine imdb id vorliegt. Deine Dateibenennung weicht zu sehr von den eigentlichen Filmtiteln ab als dass der Scraper hiermit den Film identifizieren könnte. Bei dieser Benennung führt wohl kein Weg an der Imdb ID vorbei. Sorry.

Wahnsinn, gerade noch ein Schwätzchen gehalten mit meiner Frau und schon eine Antwort.

Schade, da werde ich wohl in den sauren Apfel beissen müssen.

Nur eine kleine Frage, ist es egal wo die Id im dateinamen steht?

Edit: Habe die ID am Ende gesetzt, hat wunderbar geklappt. Endlich habe ich ordentliche Tags. Der Aufwand ist gar nicht mal so groß.

I have an issue with "Der Seewolf" -> Link! Only a few infos are grabbed! Have tried to reload several times, unfortunately no success! Could you please give me a hint, what i am doing wrong?

Helios, you are doing nothing wrong at all.
"Der Seewolf" is considered a TV mini series and only very limited info is available at imdb and ofdb, hence nothing is pulled.

TV Miniseries in general are causing some problems. For one there's usually only one entry on the entire series, but the series consists of several parts, then for others there's often no info available at all.

But do not despair! There's an entire plugin available that will handle all your series just fine... check out MP-TVSeries

Actually if you follow the IMDb link to the season listing, you will find that each episode has their own IMDb tt-ID entry.

"Der Seewolf" (2009) - Episode list

Series = tt1215482
#1.1 = tt1675982
#1.2 = tt1672013

But the episode info at imdb.de is very bare on those as well.

MP-TVSeries on the other hand gets the info from TheTVdB which has German support as well, so you would end up with:

Der Seewolf (2009): Series Info

You then get series fanart, series info, but you can also get episode info and thumbnail (unfortunatly those don't exist for this show).

Of course thats right, RoChess. And certainly teh scrapers could be enhanced to also handle series, but I dont really see why we should reinvent the wheel when MPTVSeries handles series just fine already. Afterall MovPic is for movies, not series.

I think i will try this scraper because the OFDB Scraper has some issues in the last weeks for mee, because only parts of the movies i add new are found.
