Since we all use different TV-providers I have to assume that the only thing we have in common is our FireDTV TV-Card. I really wonder about this because Frodo uses a FireDTV card himself.
thats right, but his is dvb-s afaik ;)

frodo is quite busy atm. i will tell him about this thread here :)

    Hello ashopedies,

there is no fix yet unfortunally. We have to wait until Frodo has some time for us ;-). But I think it will be easier to find the problem the more of us have are experiencing the same error.

    Hi,

I think, I have a very similar problem but I am using a Technotrend S2-3200 card. Also, the problem shows up only very sporadically after startup / standby.

Please see my system spec and logs in this thread:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/technotrend_cards_e_g_tt_s2_3200-t20883.html?p=139388#post139388

The problem can be fixed temporarily by entering the TV server setup --> manual control --> start timeshift --> stop timeshift. After that it works until one of the next powerups / resumes from standby.

What I have recognized is that in a good case some specific value is "0" and in the bad case it is "-1". Here is the line from my log file:
    27.03.2007 19:31:07 card:user:htpc:8:-1 tune DVBS:tvroSiebenSat.1 ProSieben Freq:12480000 ONID:133 TSID:33 SID:898 PMT:64 FTA:True LCN:10000 SymbolRate:27500 Modulation:ModNotSet Polarisation:LinearV InnerFecRate:RateNotSet DisEqcimpleA band:Universal

Some help would be highly appreciated.

I have the same problem. My card is a Technotrend DVB-C 1500. Some channels don't work. When I hit the preview button in tvserver config, the message is: "Previow failed: NoAudioVideoDetected". The pcrPID entry in the database is 0 in these cases. Changing it manually doesn't work either.

The OEM software and other third-party software (Sceneo AbsolutTV) are working fine. I also tried the card in another computer with the same result.

    Log files of working channel:

    Log files of non-working channel:

I also attach a log file of a scan of one transponder frequency. In tv.log the pcrPID value of the channel "RTL Television" is "A6". In TsWriter.log the pcrPID value is 0.

    Thanks in advance

Edit: I have no alphacrypt module. The channels that don't work are all free-to-air. My provider is KabelBW

    Hi guys,

I have similar problem. I'm using quite old tvserver build (02-07-2007--01-13h--Rev12880) , which works without problems. In never versions (probably after multiple channel view in 1 TS implementation) there are unable to view scrambled channels (channel is scrambled error message). I can see in db channel table [freetoair] column "true" value for most channels. Any help with this issue will be highly appreciated :) Thanks a lot
