Yes, you're probably right that this may be a glitch of the player wanting to skip over the pre-recording time (which isn't complete yet). I'll have a look at this and if I can reproduce it I'll implement a fix.

I have just started using this awesome piece of kit and I had to come back just to say
:D to the author(s?)!!! Keep up the good work!

    ---edit----

Little question though. Saw in your nick it's possible to transcode, I'd like that. Compress my files a bit, maybe automatically delete original .ts
Probably just a noob's question, maybe you can give me a little pointer. Didn't see any reference in the manual.
I love the ease of installation btw. Runs great on my IIS 5.1 install. Tweaked it a bit too, didn't really like the default url (ForTheRecord.WebAccess changed to fortherecord, lowercase like URLs should be imho)
I have got some errors where for the record refers to windows eventviewer. I'll post some more specifics when I can. It's not a big deal so far, a refresh of the webaccess seems to solve it all the time. Probably something misbehaving on my setup.

    p.s.
I think because of the awesomeness of this plugin, it should at least have it's own subforum on MP! And also great job running the website and forum. You can see the effort spent in this whole project, which is turning out a gem.

Hey guys.... Recent user, long time admirer.. Just a few questions and/or suggestions...

1.. Any chance of adding some more functionality to your search... It would be nice if I could have program listings from A to Z like in the original MP TV engine... This is useful as I can rarely remember the name of a show and find that being able to scan down through a listing of all available shows is a very easy way to quickly occupy your schedule.

2.. Simple record, none of this 1 hour 2 hour stuff... Just hit record and have "Current program" "until manual stop" and "define time length" maybe?

Thanks, just a few suggestions, otherwise loving it.... It is a shame the MP-team does not integrate this as standard.... I don't understand why we have multiple projects for the same thing, a bit like how there is StreamedMP and MediaStream!!! AARRGG Madness!!!

Excuse my silly question, but does 4TR support 'TiVo Suggestions' type of recording timers?

    No it currently doesn't.

Are there any scheduler applications for MP that does?

I wonder if there are any sites with such sort of 'suggestions' programme data that MP plug-in developers utilise? If there are not, then how about setting up such a site? (In the same vein as thetvdb.com...)
