Freeze after Standby (2 Viewers)

    Unfortunately not.
    There were some changes from 1.4 > 1.5 (PowerScheduler related)
    Maybe 1.6 Pre Release works better?

    I have similiar Problems and also with 1.6 Pre Release and had this problems since beginning (1.5) of my new System. Even with similiar Eventlog-Entries, like on page 3.

    On my system before I don't really used Standby, so i don't know if i had the problems also.

    I have changed the gentle.config to ip-address. Since this time it is not so often. At the moment it is hard to reproduce the problem. If you go to standby and wake up immediate, there is no problem. If you wait some hours, maybe mediaportal can freeze.

    I suppose it is a combination of hardware and software problem. Because after a restart of Mediaportal i can use it without problems. I also tried many things: New drivers for every component. New Installation of Mediaportal. Partly disabled some plugins. But I don't know where it comes from.

    A really annoying and disappointing problem. I will try to get the next time logs with the watchdog.

    Please don't hi-jack threads, it is hard to follow when there are many people reporting "same" issue in same thread. Read instructions how to create a proper bug report.

    What's this file for and where can I find it?
    It's the hostname setting in MP Config >> TV/Radio section. You either set a hostname or IP adress and it's best to use static IP adresses on multi-seat setups to overcome (potential) DNS issues.

    Hmm since I am not using the TV feature I have not TV Section under the config :(.
    I also can not find the file on the HDD.

    If you don't use the TV Server part, then you don't have this file.

    xadox, i would suggest for you (before going to sleep) to start MP using the WatchDog and select 'Report a Bug to Team MediaPortal'.
    Then let the system go into standby and test resume tomorrow morning.
    This will disable all plugins, so we can try to narrow down your resume problem.

    Hmm I already uploaded a WatchDog created log file, but with activated plugins.
    Do I also have to try to generate a crash with disabled plugins.
