Ok I might be stupid or something, but how do I get fullscreen image on My TV with Media Portal? I can't seem to enlarge it to max.

If your using a remote/mouse just click on the playing window and it will go fullscreen. If you have a MCE remote with teletext buttons, press the button left teletext button.

I have just done a clean install of v1.36.
Current setup
Media Portal 1.36
Titan skin (only classic home)
TV Series 4.5.1.737...
maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck?
Preferable with as much disabled as possible
also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything)
maybe other programs competing for resouces?

Since over a year my MP sometimes stucks while showing the welcome screen. It started once a week now it happens every second time...
