You have the process plugin 'External Display' enabled and configured as type 'Debug Form'.
If you do not have an external display (refers to VFD's etc) then best just disable this plugin.

I have been using it For 16 years now (from V1.1.1) and it has worked flawlessly.
I only use TV Series and Moving...
maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck?
Preferable with as much disabled as possible
also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything)
maybe other programs competing for resouces?

Since over a year my MP sometimes stucks while showing the welcome screen. It started once a week now it happens every second time...
