If you use TVE3 ("TV server/client") all DVB cards with BDA drivers should work.

Which card is it, see here http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/TVCard/Default.aspx
If it has BDA drivers, it should work with TVE3.
For the internal TVEngine (MyTV) see here , if its not listed there, read the bit about adding a card.

the thing is i did everything to add a card, and i really dont want this tv server.
as you can see i edited capturecarddefinitions.xml and added my card (i took a screenshot of U7000 config as well, so you can see they are very similar)
but i get this error in media portal

Take a screenshot of Graphedit with this card, may give us a clue where you are going wrong.
Use the advanced function + to upload picture here, has to be a name\pin error.

SingleSeat config works pretty well.
Try hard even if you can get easy

Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ?
MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo.
