I only added some Codec Info to the DefaultWide skin, there is no requirement for skinners to use them all. Do what you feel is best

Everything looks great Damien, thanks tons! However it still does not display thumbs (never has for me in Global Search Music). Not in either in Main or Details screen using Default (or any other skin). Default thumb displays on Details screen. Fanart displays OK. Is it possible it only looks for folder.jpgs? That is turned off in my music DB Config settings.

MediaPortal.log attached (with debug logging). Simple search for 'Cold Shoulder' (artist and album thumbs display fine everywhere else). The album cover is MediaPortal\thumbs\Music\Albums\Adele-19.jpg (or Adele-19L.jpg) in Details 'Adele' displays correctly as artist and '19' displays correctly as album.

Not 100% what its doing yet as im not that familiar with music and how thumbs are stored...the current code doesnt look too hard to figure out so when I get my head around it im sure I can improve it.

In MP Configuration > Music > Music DB I select the option 'Use for Thumb Creation' = 'cover art embedded in ID3-tags'. All my covers are in ID3 tags. However I think that only affects how the thumbs are created for MP. They are all correctly stored as jpgs in MediaPortal\thumbs\Music\Albums. What I don't know is how they are referenced for #selectedthumb which is what most music screens use.

EDIT: Note, I never use shares view so my thumbs are not stored in the folders where the tracks are. All my tracks are stored in My Music in sub-folders for artist then album. To test my 'theory' I copied the thumbs for Adele 19 to my music folder where the track is. Once I named it folder.jpg it displayed in Details view, but not in main view (probably because I do not have that set in Config).
