I also used Lyfesaver keymap, but almost nothing worked. Just 4 o 5 buttons.
I'm new to mediaportal and this question may be posted before but, is there a way to test my mapping with keyboardinput plugin without lauching mediaportal? Although I installed and configured it, mediaportal is working with the remote as If I haven't installed the plugin...pretty weird.

Unfortunately I don't have a win7 pc to test the remote, so I have to stick to winxp.

I don't really know if all the buttons can be tested in MP.

I use Win 7 Ultimate and the remote is recognised anyway. Maybe you need the XP Media Centre Edition for it to work fully??

Thank you for this thread because I've just changed from Windows Media Center 7 to Media Portal and I've got this same charming remote, which perfectly worked with WMC7 but doesn't properly with MP.

I'll give it a try when I come back home today!
By the way, look at this thread in order to remap the W and desktop buttons!

Yup, I still use these remotes. Bought two more since my last post. AutoHotKey is a nice tool, I just wish we did not HAVE to use it to make things work. But it is a nice fix.

I can tell you that it did work!
Now I'm wondering how to show my desktop with the DeskTOP button.
Mmmmmmm.......

enanno: What do u mean? The Desktop button shows the desktop right out of the box. It naturally works with the command the button issues. If your button is not working then Autokey is conflicting.

I really can't show my desktop with or without AutoKey.
I think that it's because of some box I checked in the setup, could it be? (Like "Show MediaPortal always on the top" or so)
