All,

Does anyone know when the TV Server will support the Hauppauge IR Bluster ?

It was supported on the regular MP, why it is not supported on the TV Server????

Thx,
Yohay

    Hey,

Checking in code depends on a couple of things, but I can take a look at it for you.

Do you want to post it here (zipped up) ?

No Diff files please, just the files that you've changed.

    Cheers,

    and-81,

I attaching the source of the Hauppauge support. There is an interface and implementation class.

I added a code to TVController.cs at the end of the startTimeShifting function that call blastChannel(Channel channel), but I guess you will find a better way to add it.

The code uses the externalId field in the channel table for the settopbox channel.

    Thx,
    Yohay

Even though we've talked in another thread about this now I wanted to post here for completeness...

The code looks ok to me. But I think the best place for this would be in a plugin. The plugin can of course be part of the TV Server SVN (like the comskip launcher, server blaster, etc... are already).

If you turn this into a plugin (I can provide framework for you if you like?) I will definitely add it to the SVN for you.

It would be a simple plugin that we could include with all SVN builds / future releases of TV Server.

    Good job,

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1

Thank you for this tip! I'm moving MP TV Server to a new machine. I installed the 64-bit version and most of the MP firewall rules were set to Public. I couldn't connect to the new TV Server from my old single-seat installation running 32-bit until I changed all MP-related firewall rules on the new machine to Private. Before I did...

O Frabjous Joy! That seems to have done the trick. Thank you so much for your help and advice, CyberSimian. I hadn't thought of deleting the various folders, but I'll bear that in mind for any future disasters. Now I can record King & Conqueror on Sunday! Cheers Ralph
