HD TV in AC3+/DD+/E-AC3. No more HD TV (98 Viewers)

I also tried yesterday :

• MP 1.0.2 fresh install
• e-ac3 patch
• last ffdshow codec

Does not work...

I'm completely desperate

more details, you have to :

-copy TsWriter.ax and TVLibrary.dll in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server

-execute command : regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\TsWriter.ax"

-copy TsReader.ax in C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

-execute command : regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\TsReader.ax"

And be sure to have great codecs installed on your system to decode H264 and eac3

Are we sure that this update will be taken into the mainline branch used to develop Mediaportal 1.1.0 ?

Or in the coming months, we will still have the issues with DD+ & HD channels.

Currently there is no source code patch available, so it is unlikely that the 1.1.0 will contain support for DD+.

Everything works.
My error was to copy the 3 files in the folder 'MediaPortal TV Server'...

I'm uploading a file on \members\ambass\manual - T-France 2 - 2009-08-21 - 19_32(EAC3).ts.

I've patched the audio type as 0x84 ( like in TsReader DD+ ) . I've done quick changes in TsWriter/TvService.

Could you do something on TsReader side ? I've not a lot of time to do this and you've probably already done something...

So, you have some code for TsWriter that is allowing 0x84 stream to be detected as audio stream (and it gets written into the .ts file? Please upload that pach to FTP and I'll handle the TsReader side (as it is pretty mall change that it requires. Prefer AC-3 might be a little bit harder, but at least the stream detection from PMT is easy to add).

I can also update the SVN to contain TVE3 & TsWriter changes later... as soon as I find some time to check those changes and implement the TsReader side

Oops, stupid....nothing is patched with 0x84...( 0x84 is fake like 0x81 for AC3 ) E_AC3 ID is 0x7a instead of 0x6a for AC3.

I'll give you a patch tomorrow. File upload is in progress.
