hmm... was that sample .ts recorded so that the audio stream is there? I can see only H.264 and subtitle streams.

Audio streams look as included....
When I try to read with a patched TsReader they are present, but no sound and frozen picture !

- tswriter & tvlibrary patches.

Yesterday I have starting to reinstall my development computer (Visual studio, SDK,...), I do a SVN checkout and as I going to be less busy this week, so I can have a look and redo the patch (based on the last SVN of the v1.1.0 alpha).
Ambass and Tourette, i see you seem to be well advanced on the eac3 patch, but if I can help, it will with pleasure

Patch is almost complete, still requiring some testing and TV plugin side changes (for the prefer AC-3 option etc.)

Unfortunately I cannot promise if this DD+ / AC-3 plus support will be available within 1.1.0 time frame as it is changing a lot (althou required changes are pretty isolated / safe ones). So, it will be a team decision if 1.1.0 will support DD+ or not.

I'll post some test binaries when those are ready (and the patch as well).

How to test?

• Install MP 1.1.0 Alpha and latest SVN build on top of it
• Stop tv service and mediaportal processes
• Copy the TsReader.ax into MP folder and register it with running following command from command line in mp install directory ( regsvr32 tsreader.ax )
• Copy the TsWriter.ax into TVe3 folder and register it with running following command from command line in tve3 install directory ( regsvr32 tsreader.ax )
• Copy tvplugin.dll into mp plugins\windows folder
• Copy TVLibrary.dll into TVE3 install folder
• start MP and TVE3
• Rescan channels that have DD+ as audio

At that point audio should be working ok (ffdshow at least works here). Also remember to test that prefer AC3 option is still working in tv plugin (both AC3 and DD+ are treated as equals). TsWriter / TsReader logs are showing if DD+ is actually seen.

If all goes well, lets hope that the patch works (I cannot test it here, only TsReader...) and team is willing to accept it into 1.1.0 beta.

So, please test quickly... to give a change for DD+ to be supported in 1.1.0.

I have some Zapping problems and I need to search some better video codecs but I think that it's not a MP problem.
I use the latest (ffdshow_rev3020_20090628_clsid_icl10.exe) as sound decoder for tests

Ok it work fine with PDVD 9 SD & HD codec and ffdshow for sound.
But... the builded graph is strange, the 2 video codecs (SD & HD) are always loaded. if I use ffdshow for video and sound codec, I see 2 ffdshow video decoder and 1 for sound loaded and sync sound is very bad. "Good" new, there is the same problem without the patch ;-)

I've just retried the Tsreader patch I give you without updating anything ( WAF issue ) , and it works with a fresh ffdshow.!!!!

Yep, worked here as well without any code changes (altou I did few minor modifications to match something else...). So, it is definitely a codec issue.

Hopefully someone can recompile the tv plugin DLL with correct assembly info so that MP doesn't nag about the version. I currently cannot do it...

I also add FFDShow raw video filter in TV post processing for upscale : Perfect also.

You did it, I can now see the wonderfull TVshow "secret story" in HD (You must be French to understand... most stupid game on TV)
