[HELP US] Getting those DVB EPG issues fixed (1 Viewer)

I just made a debug version of TvLibrary.dll which logs all events for all languages to the epg.log.
It also finds gaps and marks them in the log.
Use the attached dll with a recent SVN.
The log can get quite huge but it's a good way to see were the problem is.

i just had a look at the uploaded ts dump (ITALY_MediaSet_818000_T_Rete4_FTA.ts).
Well there is not a single EPG info in the whole file
Did you mean that file?

the upload was for the TsWriter.ax issue tourette was handling and you are dealing with now.
I have a DVB-T integrated tuner in my TVset and I can receive the EPG on this channel ( 818000 Rete4 ).
Maybe it's not broadcasted continiously ?

I don't know, but after you modify DVB-EPG with build 16643 I can receive at least the current and next programs on Rete4. Before nothing...

Will give you a feedback using debug TvLibrary from previous post asap.

BTw, you need me to upload raw file for let's say 5 minutes per transponder ? Can you create a DVb-EPG folder in the ftp site and enable it for resume transfers so I can put those 3/4 ts files there please ?

I did a test with the new debug TvLibrary.dll provided.
Italia1 is the same as before, but I timeshifted also Canale5 ( on the same transponder ) and found some more info.

it would be nice if you could make a full ts dump and post the logs (epg.log, tswriter.log, tv.log) that got created while timeshifting.
3 Minutes is enough.
I am sorry, i can't enable resume, only high can do that (i think).
Just upload the file under Full_Muxes and name it "Italy_EPG_dump.ts"

Test was done clearing logs and timeshifting files, start manual control until "grab EPG" is displayed, then stop timeshifting.

You will have 6 files (ts files=200Mb, rar files=5Kb) :

Once those are working fine, I will test with others, less important broadcaster and report my findings.

Hi chimelli,
just checked:

IT_Mediaset_700000_T_Canale5_FTA.ts
IT_Mediaset_700000_T_Canale5_FTA_log.rar

TsReader (the app not our filter) finds EXACTLY the same epg infos.
Not 1 more or less. The infos are absolutely identical.
So this mux seems to work in TVEngine3

It's the same. TsReader shows exactly the same epg entries as the one's TsWriter has grabbed.
So, in these two files there aren't any more infos.
Are they all in the db?

resuming Italia1 upload (the second one you checked for me) and also uploading RaiEdu1.
All samples are 200Mb when complete.

Sorry for the OT but those samples are good also to test TsWriter.ax changes in the hope you can give me a test one to get live tv work again.
