I've had some freezing/locking up of the picture. I was watching TV for about 1.5 hours, then it froze. Restarted MP, freeze again within a few minutes. Did this several times, finally I rebooted. Lasted a while then it froze again.

Get a failure to create file at 9:55, but TV plays fine.

Until almost 1.5 hours, when at 11:22 same error, at this point the failed to reopen file message is in my log many times, Video is frozen, and I need to restart.

when I restart MP, I get the same sequence of log entries and the freezing video after a few minutes of video. Rebooting helped, but I'm still not getting reliable video.

Turns out my .net was out of date and needed a service pack applied. After doing this, the above error went away.
On edit 3...
Turns out I still have the problem. Just takes longer since I went back to using the default timeshift settings. I'll open a new thread on it since I don't think it has anything to do with EPG.
