    NOTE!!!
Please disable all options in the tv plugin setup like
    - prefer ac3

    Hi tourettes,

I thought "Prefer AC3" is now fully supported with the new filter? I do not want to disable that for normal use because for me that is a mandatory feature. Or do you mean we shall disable this option after we found an issue and try to reproduce without the option enabled to see if this makes a difference?

    Thanks,

    Andreas

Better to disable that also for testing.

    hi,

i wanna ask again for help, i still have problems playing MPEG2 tsfiles with tsreader. Now my system
got a 32bit VISTA Home Premium, so no 64bit anymore.

All of my h264 tsfiles play fine but all my MPEG2 even start to play. In the Mediaportal.log there
is the info that pin:0 not connected ....

    2007-09-24 21:12:02.950575 [Info.][MPMain]: TSReaderPlayer: open file with mediatype:G:\Arac Attack\Arac Attack 1080i.ts

I also tryed building a graph within graphedit using the tsreader as sourcefilter. I can connect
the audiofilter and i can connect for example cyberlink h264 filter if i chose a h264 tsfile. But
no chance to connect any MPEG2 decoder to a MPEG2 tsfile source ...

Would be great if somebody can give me a hint what it can be, it's getting frustrating ...

    thanks

o.k. now i can connect to the remote graph of MP and in attachement
you find a screenshot of the graph.

That's the same like graphedit generates if you drag and drop the
    file into tsreader.

The Video pin gets connected to Cyberlink Demux and like mentioned
before no videodecoder is conactabel ?

And i recognized that these files also don't play in WMP. The movie
starts and shows one picture, but no audio and it stays at this picture.

Is there any possibility to deinstall WMP 11 from VISTA and reinstall it ?

I can't watch any of my recorded TV-shows in MP. (Cyberlink codec, ffdshow for the audio part). Watching them in WMP or PowerDVD directly works without problems.

Could you be a bit more specific? And maybe even provide logs (use mpTestTool2.exe found in MP dir)? If you could also inform us of what SVN revision you are using of MP+TVE3 (and single or multiseat), then it would be appreciated.

    Can you watch live tv?

    Regards

more testing and i am not completely sure but i think my VISTA 32bit
has problems with the tvserver3 installation.

    1. i did a systemrecovery of the fresh installation = WMP 11 says it can't play it because of missing decoder ( AC3
i think, because MPEG2 should be on the system from beginning )

    2. i installed PowerDVD Ultra = now WMP 11 plays the tsfile fine

    3. i installed MP RC2 = WMP 11 still playing

    4. i installed MP snapshot from 26.09. = still playing

    5. i installed tvserver 3 = no playback of the file anymore. Picture stays ...

So i thought maybe tvserver 3 is the problem and i deinstalled everything
( MP, TVserver and PowerDVD ) and installed in the same line es before.

But now i tryed to only registrate the tsreader.ax, that didn't work i got
an error. So i tested to register Mpgmux.ax if this could be registered.
It worked but afterwards i got the old problem only first picture and no
    playback ...

So i don't need the tvserver because i have no tvcard in the PC but
i would like to use the tsreader.ax. Is there a way i can register and
use only the tsreader.ax in MP ?

Oh i forgot, why is it that the Mpegmux.ax is called Cyberlink Mux or
similar. Is this a Cyberlink filter ? and is it correct that there are two
of this one in the MP folder and one in the tvserver folder ? maybe
    thats the problem ...

I found a way - copying the Mediaportal TV Server folder from another
PC and than register the tsreader.ax - but also after only register the
tsreader.ax WMP 11 stays with the first picture ...

So maybe the hole package seems to have a problem using it on my
system, but i have no idea why others also using VISTA do not have
this problem ... please give me a hint what i can test ...

I don't have a TsReader.log written to c:. MP crashes everytime I try changing channel to a scrambled one and need this log incase something crucial pops up there...

Any idea why I cannot see a TsReader.log anywhere? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Alright I can confirm that I have the same issue as Ikuech has for single seat, I have audio is missing sometimes when changing channel. Running SVN 16039. I just think that its getting better... I have never missed any audio when zapping with SVN 15881 previously - if that can be of any help.

When running remote client (same SVN) for recorded shows (rec. with SVN 16039) I can now see the recorded show with a remote client. With previous SVNs I was just kicked back to the "recorded tv" screen when hitting play. So that is a progress.

However, I am unable to skip ff or backward (+15 sec etc) when watching recordings.
When doing that it just kicks back to the "recorded tv" menu again. Sometimes MP just freezes and you have to kill it eventually..

I have attached logs for both symptoms with remote clients and watching recorded shows:
EDIT: Looks that I was a bit hasty with my conclusion, I also having problems seeking in recorded shows when using single seat. Also attached that log:
