    Slow channelchange here also.

Yep, here also very slow channel changes.
Up to about 160 seconds to change channel, about 25 seconds to stop live tv!
Also starting a recorded show takes a very long time...

Is there a way to use the old tsfilesource instead of the TSreader? The stable 0.2.3.0 version worked great for me, now with the TSreader as default watching tv sucks, big time :)

Only way to use the TSFileSource with latest SVNs is to make a local patch for the source codes and then compile it. Why? We don't have enough resources to keep fixing two different filters and also allowing users to use the old TSFileSource there would be most likely bug reports that aren't going to help us to make the TsReader better.

So only options to use TSFileSource is to use either the stable 0.2.3.0 release or compile own MP. :sorry:

thats a shame...but actually makes perfect sence :)
So I'm going back to the stable 0.2.3.0 version for now.
I just hope the tv-slowness issue is quickly resolved in the tsreader filter so I can use and test the new svn's again.
    Keep up the good work!

I am experiencing a problem with the TsWriter.ax:

I can watch "normal" programs without problems, also programs with multiple audio streams seam to work.

But I just tried to watch a movie on a program which has 7 audio channels. The TV-Service crashes after a few minutes (I never saw the service itself crash before). Windows event service displays following error:

    Code:
    Fehlgeschlagene Anwendung TvService.exe, Version 1.0.0.16589, fehlgeschlagenes Modul TsWriter.ax, Version 0.0.0.0, Fehleradresse 0x0000c451.

    "Failed application TvService.exe, Version 1.0.0.16589, failed module TsWriter.ax, Version 0.0.0.0, erroradress 0x0000c451."

MediaPortal logs didn't say much about the error, the application just crashed. I attached "streaming server.Log" and "TsReader.log" though. I also attached a sample of the stream I watched.

Just (re-)installed TVEv3 and have no prior comparison, but starting TV takes about 20 seconds (!). Using PVR150 connected w/s-video.

After I uninstall the svn's and reinstall 0.2.3.0 stable everything is fast again, until I import the channellist.xml I saved in the svn... Does this file also make MP use the tsreader??
Because I thought it was just a list of channels I scanned and ordered.

If this file does not affect the use of tsfilesource, than my slowness issue is something other than a problem with tsreader...
I don't know if it's relevant but I think I've also noticed that the more recordings I plan and the more conflicting recordings I get, MP becomes slower and slower...

Hi, i have some massive problems on channel.

some times during the swich i hear the new channel and see a freezen picture from the old one.
other times hole MP is still freezing and after the time out the TV section goes from fullscreen back to normal mode and the lie tv is disabled.... i can then enable the live tv and all is fine until i must switchc the channel :(

i have notized that the file TsReader.ax on mediaportal root folder has a creation and a change date from 30.11.2007(!)

i have installed the latest SVN without any changes on this file.

where can i found the actual filter, or how do i am update to the actual one?

    :D

thanks in advance for any help
