The Loopback Adapter is exactly what I needed to get it working. It is presently working great!

Thankyou very much Paranoid Delusion.

If I am not going to be watching/using any Analog channels is there any point to having the two analog tuners enabled? Should I just disabled them in TV Server settings?

If you dont have any channels assigned to the analog tuners they wont cause problems...so you dont have to disable them.

p.s. I've been following your progress....congrats for sorting it out, now you are a real MediaPortal user like all of us :D :D

    Thanks geov ! :D

I think there are channels assigned as I have scanned for services but as I said I will not be viewing analog at all. Should I just disable them?

Then yes...but if I were you I would rather do a clean-up and remove the channels I dont need, otherwise they might stil show up in your EPG..

I have a some what less irritating problem than before but a problem none the less and I though I would come here and see if anyone is able to help me out.

When watching live TV and there is a panning shot from side to side there is a certain strip going horizontally that fuzzes up up little bit. I do not know what deinterlacing deos but I have set it 'Best'

Is there something I am not looking at? Is there a quick fix?

    Hi,

I'm experiencing similar problems with connecting to the TV Server as you did. Reading this thread gives me hope to finally solve the problem and start enjoying MP.

Question: when using the MSLoopback Device, is it still possible to use your regular lan connection to connect to internet/home network?

    Thanks in advance.

Edit: I already found out that the answer is yes.

Maybe I should explain it better..

When there is a camera shot from left to right or right to left there is a 'ripple' across the screen in on distinct line. It seems to be only when watching Liv TV but it may be on other playback too. I haven't noticed as much if at all there.
