Looks like Microsoft is using random numbers for the OSD window...[DOUBLEPOST=1451416129][/DOUBLEPOST]Why not loop over all windows and check if there is no other NativeHWNDHost / DirectUIHWND with parent/child relation at the same Level? Then we are safe.

@regeszter : Please check the attached file. I tested it on Windows 10 (64 bit) with 2560 x 1600 and Windows 8 (32 and 64 bit) with 1920 x 1080 and it seems to work reliable. (No second pair found)

Did a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro x64 in VMWare. Then only installed VMware tools and right after that HideVolumeOSD in the silent version.
After a reboot it takes some seconds till the task starts and then the OSD disappears.

@regeszter: Can you test the attached version (Silent mode)?
