    Please give me some more details about "restart".
    Do you mean you restart the PC. Then you log in, start MediaPortal and then the Volume OSD is not hidden,

    Yes, full restart of the pc, and then (automatically) start mediaportal

    New version based on 1.14 Pre Release.

    The OSD is not enabled after MP exit.

    Tested and it works perfectly.

    Did the following: unticked "enable volume OSD". fresh restart of the PC. After startup of MP, windows volume OSD is gone. Put HTPC in sleep and then resumed. No windows volume OSD. Closed MP, no windows volume OSD.
    Repeated same procedure with ticked "enable volume OSD". Same results.

    So this is perfect and can be merged.
