    Just pushed the changes.

    The hidden config value is

    <section name="volume">
    <entry name="hideWindowsOSD">yes</entry>
    </section>

    The default value is true. We need to add this info to wiki.

    @Sebastiii : Can you test it?

    It seems that Windows volume is always hide when MP is open with :
    <entry name="hideWindowsOSD">yes</entry>
    or
    <entry name="hideWindowsOSD">no</entry>

    Maybe i didn't test it correctly.

    I have read the thread (honest), but I'm unsure how I implement this fix.. .. or has this been superseded and natively implemented somewhere in the MP config? can't find it in there.

    From the first post in this thread, I see that it addresses a problem with Windows 10. Since I run Windows 7, I don't have any personal experience of this problem. But the current release of MP does have the following setting in "MP Config" (highlighted in red):

    hide_windows_volume_osd.jpg

    I don't know whether this setting will solve your problem, but it might be worth trying.

    I'm still running 1.5, and it has one there (no idea how I missed that, so thank you).. but it doesn't change the interface on windows 10.. I'll do an upgrade sometime this week and see how it goes.

    I snuck in the upgrade tonight after the mrs went to bed.. works perfectly. no idea why I couldn't see that initially... going blind!
