The title says it all...

Can I setup MP in such a way that RadioTime automatically starts with a selected channel?

I am sorry, but the thead title does not tell me anything.
Actually it makes no sense at all. What is "RadioTime"?

AW: How can I start RadioTime with a selected channel at startup of MP?

MrCrabs is correct. Our MP runs on a machine without monitor / keyboard and can only be accessed remotely. Typically we just listen to a certain radio station. Therefore I want MP to start with this radio station without having to activate Android Remote (MediaPortal - Das kostenlose Open Source Media Center - Android Remote)

You can configure MP to remember the last used module/screen.
So when you resume your PC from standby/hibernat then it will go to "RadioTime" (if that was your last used plugin).
If that will start to play your fav. radio station, I do not know. That is something you must ask the author of that plugin.

For MP itselfe there is no config option to directly go to an specific plugin after startup. But this would be a nice small feature.

Hm, you probably mean the setting in the "General" options. So far that left me on the home screen because I can only quit MP properly on the "X" in the home screen. I will check what happens when I turn off the computer while playing WebRadio this weekend and give you an update.

I did not say "shutdown" - I mean when resuming from standby/hibernate.

    solved!

    1. Install the One-Buttom-Music extension
    MEDIAPORTAL - One Button Music

    2. Create a playlist that contains the internet radio channel. For example the playlist file simply contains "http://82.201.100.9:8000/Radio10Gold"
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...on-random-music-48751/index32.html#post702817

    3. Configure One-Buttom-Music to play that playlist at startup of MP (in "AutoPlay Options" / check "AutoPlay on Mediaportal startup" / select "Playlist" / insert playlist name

    Hope you enjoy it.

4.5 is really old. I'm not sure 4.5.5 even is a version that actually existed. You should be able to install .NET Framework 4.8.0 on Windows 7 SP1

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...

I used to use the grabber but a few years back it disappeared on FreeSat DVBS. That is when I changed to EPG Collector. The extra benefit is that it collects from the Sky platform so it will give EPG for all the FreeSat channels plus the unencrypted movie channels on the Sky platform. It also allows me to pick the channels dedicated...
