out of curiosity, why do you want to do that?
I'm a long time GBPVR user and am currently switching over to MediaPortal, simply because of the TVServer and the extras that gives over and above GBPVR.

Titan skin (only classic home)
TV Series 4.5.1.737...
Some MP2 installers contain three TV Servers:
TVE3
TVE3.5
TvMosaic
If the installer that you used offers you the choice of these three TV Servers, select TVE3. If you selected TVE3.5, run the installer again and select TVE3.
The Kodi plugin is described as being intended for MP 2.5 and TVE3, so it should work. Unfortunately I do...

I have been using it For 16 years now (from V1.1.1) and it has worked flawlessly.
I only use TV Series and Moving...
Each to there opinions respectively. My thought is this it works and it's easy to setup next to no time at all your channels are mapped with proper epg and it streams all day long no glitches , it loads 5000+ plus channels fast and guide for it with in minute of starting kodi i am watching tv. i have tried tvmosaic ,with meidaportal...

just a shot in the dark here, but what are the chances next-pvr could be used for backend server to mediaportal ?
