How To Exit MediaPortal Correctly? (1 Viewer)

How does one exit correctly out from MediaPortal?

I am using Ctrl+Alt+Del to exit via Task Manager, im sure this isn't the correct way?

If you press right in the homescreen you will see the shutdown menu items.

I tend to use the top menu with its little 'X' at the end of the bar to exit MediaPortal. Or the root menu also has a button with an 'X' on it that does the same thing.

Taskman is typically never the 'right' way to exit any program. If you're using it to exit software there's a good chance you will lose data, settings, documents etc.
