Have my card updated to the latest firmware (3.23)

AND running it on windows 2012 server :)

runs straight out of the box! :) (installed the BDA stuff, desktop experience features and voila!)

all i have now is the incompatability warning when you start up the config...would like to disable that one but alas, you can't have everything

jup .. thought about making a manual for 2012, but its basically the same as mine, only one thing, for 100% compatibility, you need to grab the bda files from a win8 x64 machine instead of a win7 machine if you use the script from the first page..

the warning is something i can live with :D

Well, I'm going to give this a go on my Windows 2012 server tonight.

I have basically built the box for as just a media portal server. Its a Dell 2850, Dual Xeon 3.2's - 16 GB Ram, SCS Raid and 2 dual tuner cards. I was about to take 2012 off and install windows 7 on the box until I found this. With a bit of luck - I should be able to keep both MediaPortal and my data deduped drives. Why 4 tuners? so I can stream 4 tv stations out to different bedroom pc's.

    Wish me luck!

I've followed your guide to install the TV server portion onto my 2008 R2 box. I've installed BDA with the script, installed the TV tuner drivers, restarted and it all looks like it's ok but MediaPortal isn't detecting the tuner :( When I go into TV Servers > Server there's only the IP cards listed.
Is there something else I can try to get it working?

Edit: I reinstalled the TV Server and recreated the DB and it's detected them now.

I followed the instructions on the first post, and i get this error:
It is not an error. It simply means we don't provide support. In other words, you can't raise a bug and expect us to fix it if it only happens on Windows Server.
Click OK and the message will go away and TV Server configuration should open (assuming you've installed the BDA framework).

    I've waited for 5 minuttes.

Can i tell if the BDA drivers that's the problem somehow?[DOUBLEPOST=1397651159][/DOUBLEPOST]I can see a process running called SetupTV.exe

    Usually only a few seconds.

    I've waited for 5 minuttes.
    That is not normal.

Can i tell if the BDA drivers that's the problem somehow?
Yes, by posting the log files from c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\logs\.

I can see a process running called SetupTV.exe
Yep, that is the TV Server configuration process. You can safely try to kill it and restart TV Server configuration.

I've tried to kill it and start it again, it's the same result.

    I've attached the logfiles.

Thanks for your quick response![DOUBLEPOST=1397653093][/DOUBLEPOST]And now i see this:
Failed to initialise the BDA device detection graph!
This is bad right ? :p
