    @joz-StreamedMP-Skin

    Hi Joz,
i tried your Streamed-MP-Skinfiles, really great. THX! But there is one small bug. The variable #HTPCInfo.SectionName (which you use to choose your background) is language specific. So with german language you have just a black background in gauge and overview screen.
Solved this for me by renaming the background-files (gauges -> instrumente, overview -> überblick)
Have a nice day and great plugin ;-)
    :D

    Hi TheThunder,

:D for posting the bug, I never thought about that when doing that skin :) But you are right, the backgrounds need to be named the same as the sections in your specific language setting!

    -----EDIT-----

I already fixed this bug so users don't need to edit filenames if they run a different language then english. I will release this new version when the new HTPCInfo release is ready so I can incorporate the new features

Tank you for you advice. The MPI File extracts die xml-files only in the blu3 skin file and not in the blue3wide Skinfile.

If i copy the xml file into the blue3wide skin folder manually it works quite perfect, but it looks as i discribed in Post #21 .
In blue3 mode everthing seams well.

    Hi Micropolis,
nach Installation des HTPCInfo-Plugins benötigt MP beim Start (Initialisierung Plugins) 15-20sec länger.
    Ist das normal?
    Ansonsten gutes Plugin!

    Danke!

    HTPCInfo plugin for MediaPortal 0.7.0

    Hi Golf4,
this is an english forum, so please any questions and hints also in this language, thx.
Yes, depending on your hardware it is possible, that Mediaportal needs longer to start, because the plugin must collect your computer specific informations. In the configuration dialog you have the chance to switch on/off the options, which are not required for monitoring. If you feel the timespan is to big, check these options. For more informations, take a look into the attached manual.
The next release contains some performance optimizations, hope it works than smoother.

    Cheers, Micropolis ;-)

i installed and did everything right.
    but when i start mp
i just see #HTPCInfo.MachineName instead of the machine name where i put the label for it :(
anyway that i can check if HTPCInfo is actually running?

    HTPCInfo plugin for Mediaportal v0.7.0

    Hi elhefe,
I don't know exactly, if you want to use the label inside the HTPCInfo windows or outside in any other window.

Here are some solutions for both parts:
    • inside: please check in windows control panel (e.g. Vista is System - System Properties - Computer Name/Domain Changes) if a correct computer name was entered here
    • outside: if you want to include HTPCInfo properties in other skin files, please switch on the option "Load property values on startup", otherwise the property values want be loaded only, if you had opened the HTPCInfo window

To check, if HTPCInfo is correctly running, please choose another property (see attached manual) and try again. If this also not works, please post more informations about HTPCInfo version, skin type, Mediaportal version and an example of the skin file.

    Cheers, Micropolis ;-)

    Hi m6242,
what do you want to say with your double post?
If this was only a mistake - ok, no problem. But if I must understand this as a request do create blue3 wide skin files, currently I can only say - yes no problem, if I find a little bit time next weekend. Ok for you?

    Cheers, Micropolis ;-)
