Re: *NEW* MP-TVSeries v2.6.0 Stable Release [24-Jul-2010] [Requires MP 1.1.0+]

...In step 2 when you have a show name selected, a nice addition would if the series overview (plot) could be shown somehow so you can determine that you have the right one....
I second that!!! Although the new wizard very much useful, the one thing missing for my taste is the series overview (plot) for each option. Maybe a tooltip on the combobox showing selected series' plot would do the trick...

I thought there was one already? Will double check, and if not we can easily add it.

Edit: Just checked and there definitely is one. Just hover over the series combobox.

Can you illustrate which screens are confusing and why?
Also, the filename is present where it makes sense I think, where would you like to see it added (keep in mind filenames are typically long so they take up lots of screen real-estate)?

    Thanks

To continue from step 1 to step 2, the series NAME, SEASON and EPISODE must be filled in. Why aren't these columns added by default and I have to press "Add column"?

That is true, it only happens though when none of the files you import can be parsed automatically. We will probably change this to always show, and only require you to fill out the seriesname, as season/ep can the manually patched later on if you don't know them at this point (better than u filling in fake numbers).

Do you find yourself manually importing stuff often?
    :D

While most new shows are labeled correctly, older shows often needs some "help". It's not often, but I really like not having to go through all the steps with the wizard when a complete season needs special attention.

 Sorry, my mistake then... I didn't check if there was one, but it seems you did the logical thing to do (at least for me) :D

I made some updates to the Wiki page describing the <import> and <include> tags, including adding a couple of new xml examples. For the first example, I highlighted the example text and eventually found the location in the menus where I could select the CODE macro to have the example text formatted as a code example. So far, so good...

Actually, you just reminded me of how I have handled this in the past: I merged the contents of an old export.xml with a new one to make a complete file containing the old values I needed and the new values I didn't want to change. Why should it matter if the export file is missing some values? I would expect the import process to...
