    Still love this plugin RoChess.. awesome work!

    I upgraded MediaPortal from 1.4 - 1.6 this weekend (I have 7 clients, so tend to be a late adopter). I only use imdbplus- all other scrapers are disabled in MovPics. I've had a problem with the RT ratings; specifically my system is configured to scrape only RT single score with percentages. For certain films, the scraper is failing to pull the percentages (and because I have no other scraper, these get returned as zero- so pretty easy to identify as I rescraped my entire db). A list of a few of them (I can supply a log with the full list if useful- I have a filter set on the Move Manager with a '0' score so easy to identify; but there are obviously some titles mixed in that do not have ratings on RT so '0' would be expected).

    12 Years a Slave
    All Is Lost
    Amour
    Big Fan
    Ender's Game
    The Great Escape

    Let me know if you need any further info.

    This is unfortunatly out of my control.

    You provided the perfect log file, so I could immediatly see the problem:

    06-Apr-2014 12:57:41 Error [ WebGrabber]: Connection failed: URL=http://www.rottentomatoes.com/alias?type=imdbid&s=2024544, Status=NotFound, Description=Not Found.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2024544/ = "12 Years a Slave"

    IMDb tt-ID search at RottenTomatoes however = http://www.rottentomatoes.com/alias?type=imdbid&s=2024544

    They have the movie as per: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/12_years_a_slave/

    But somebody forgot to add the IMDb tt-ID (or made a typo).

    I bet if you do a search for all the other movies (IMDb tt-ID without the 'tt' prefix) @ http://www.rottentomatoes.com/alias?type=imdbid&s= then you will more then likely get the same 'not found' error. You should be able to report this to admins of RT on their forum/contact-us (best to leave usage of IMDb+ out of the equasion) and once it is fixed, you can do a simple refresh in MovPic.

    Thanks very much for looking at that for me.. all your hard work is genuinely appreciated!

    I thought it must be something like that- I'll rerun the scraper against all the films to double-check, but that sounds spot on to me (I have tried a few manually and, as you say, they simply fail against the search).

    I've emailed the site- have just the standard response back so far, but I'll perceiver and see if we can get it fixed.

    Thanks again.

    IMDb did it again. Titles aren't translated to the original ones. All I get are the Swedish titles.

    Yup, looks like it, @zpower had already reported it before and has now provided me hopefully with all the log files I need to fix it. If you want to assist, the more debug log files I got the better (incase it differs per region). Just be sure to activate IMDb+ HTML debug mode and enable scraper-debug mode in Moving-Pictures. Log file should be about 1-2MB on a single movie, which is all I need.

    To do that you need to edit the IMDb+ settings XML file and add:

    <set id="19" name="global_options_debug_imdb_sources" value="true" />

    (put it right after id="18", and pay close attention no additional unicode characters are added when you copy and paste from this forum post, as I've seen '?' getting added at the end sometimes)

    MediaPortal config has to be configured to use DEBUG verbosity on the log files, and then you have to open MovPic config, and enable scraper-debug mode as per:

    delete the movingpictures.log file after all your background tasks completed, and then send the movie with the wrong title back to the importer. If you then provide me with the movingpictures.log file, and your IMDb+ settings XML file, I will be able to figure out what Amazon/IMDb changed again this time.

    @jake78 & @zpower, please test IMDb+ scraper script v4.9.33 that I just released.

    - Temporary fix for Amazon/IMDb stupidity in adding a localized/translated title as another "(original title)" reference.

    This should fix the English/Foreign title issue again.

    @zpower, still want the HTML source code on the search page result, so I can fix the auto-approve rate during search as well.

    Users in Germany get a different result from Amazon/IMDb website then USA users, so even if I adjust my settings to what you have, there is no way for me to find out why it is failing.

    Will try to see if I can get what I need via 4proxy.de website, but otherwise I will need your assistance in IMDb+ special debug mode (will give you instructions if 4proxy fails).

    Hi the script doesn't work correctly for me anymore.

    The 4proxy site replaces too much of the Amazon/IMDb HTML source code for me to diagnose the problem.

    Created a wiki page to explain what I need from you to help me: http://code.google.com/p/imdbplus/wiki/DebugIMDb

    I wrote that quick from memory, so let me know if I screwed up on the explanation. If all went well you can reply in here with the movingpicture.log file attached that will allow me to fix the problem.
