Hi

well, yes thats the problem :). You can`t delete the grayed out entrys in the windows command section. And since the IMON-App doesn't accept multiple mappings for the remote buttons you cant import all the settings.

The only solution I did find so far was to delete the "default.key"-File in "c:\documents and settings\<user>\application data\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON\Setup\iMON PAD\" (see previous post). After that you can import the settings. But you need to double check the mappings because some are wrong in the imported file. The mapped command has to correspond to the settings in the shortcutter plugin!

Greetings

Norbert

By the way the big knob on my case is just a power button even though I can turn it, it doesn't control the volume. That's by design I think, not because its a malfunction :D. The volume control buttons dont work for me, but the mute button does. Since I use a TOS-Link and a 5.1 Soundsystem I haven't looked into the volume problem so far.

I had the same problem with my Zalman case and Vista, the volume know would not work as iMon does not recognise a sound device.

Following these steps fixed my problem (as per this post on the Sound Graph forums) Here

1. Exit iMON.exe by right mouse click and select Exit over iMON icon right bottom of your monitor.
2. http://soundgraph.wisegiga.net/~image/Debug/SMCA.dll
Download above file and change existing SMCA.dll (located in C:\Program Files\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON) into SMCA_old.dll and copy downloaded dll into that folder.
3. Rerun iMON.exe.
4. And control volume with remote.

Btw: If someone needs an "outside of MP" solution for the front panel buttons - autohotkey is supposed to be working as well.

    Hi, Norbert

Many thanks for providing answer to a question I was about to ask. Yes, I cannot edit the grey strings, so after reading your post I tried to locate documents and settings folder on my vista 64-bit machine I could not locate it... I tried doing a search for default.key as well.... What am I doing wrong?

Update: I've done a google search OK in Vista it should be under AppData whatever alright well the SOUNDGRAPH folder doesn't have any more folders in it.... yeah...

    Hi

Well, I'm not sure about the 64Bit-version, since I havent tried this combination yet. But have you set your folder option to show you all files and folders including hidden and system folders? Maybe the settings folder is hidden by default on Vista.

    Greetings

has anyone found a hack for control the wheel on the front of the case (Default = Volume control)?
Autohotkey can't seem to sense when it is used.

    Hello

are you sure that this is possible with the hardware? On my case its just a button. There are no turning sensors attached. So its a hardware and not a software problem. Volume control works with two of the smal buttons on the right hand side of the case.

I don't know if it is possible. I know it is possible with all the front buttons, as I've done it myself. I would like to remap the control wheel into a jog wheel.

    Hi all,

I have a very strange issue with my iMon/keyboard config.
F8 doesn't change to the next channel in MyTV. F8 accutally mutes the audio, this happens on the keyboard too.
I used the .imo file and shortcutter plugin and everything is fine apart from f8 muting audio.
I am using the newer drivers although this issue shouldn't be affected by remote drivers as it is happening on the keyboard.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Usefull test would be does F8 affect the audio for windows media player and other applications?
If so the problem is probably unrelated to mediaportal/shortcuter/imon
