IMON support (2 Viewers)

Hi,
I can't make my iMon Pad working with IRSS
Hardware: Antec Fusion Max
OS: WinXP SP3
SW: iMon 7.60.0521
FW: LCD HID OEM 0x380208

IR Server Suite - Test Build 1.4.2.3049

I've tried both modes iMon Pad and MCE - no luck
I've tried different versions of iMon SW, 6.20,7.20,7.60,7.62 - no luck
Reinstalled and cleaned up both - no luck
I've tried different builds of IRSS - no luck
Reviewed both topics: this one and "IRSS 1.4.2" - no ideas

Any ideas?

Something is talking to your device in exclusive mode so IRSS is not able to access it...

Hi Simone,
I've read internet forums trying to figure out what is wrong in setup. What i've found that PID of iMON device is 0038 vs ffdc in regular iMON devices.
So system use winxp common driver and marks mouse and keyboard with system flag and NT kernel use "system" HIDs in exclusive mode only.
Anybody know how to install iMON driver or disable exclusive mode for "system" devices

after a while I gave IRSS another try, but there is still a problem with it:

After resuming from hibenate and system disconected from power, no reaction from Mediaportal!

If I restart IRSS, everything is fine again!

Is it possible to reintialize IRSS after resuming?

The log file for Irss is showing "no imon device found"

I can't work out why, the imon pad is working like a mouse and wont switch. imon software is installed and not running and irss is running. I've tried both service and app modes.

The only thing I can think of is that the hardware id of my device is not recognized.

Attached is a brief hound log, with the imon software active.

Let me know if you want more details. I've used a couple of different imon manager builds, I am currently on the latest build.

You are right, your HW ID is new to us.
Right now, we know those HW IDs:

"Vid_15c2&Pid_003c", "Vid_15c2&Pid_0038", "Vid_15c2&Pid_0036"

As I can read in your logs, you have an "older" device (VID_15C2&PID_0035).
I will add basic support for this HW ID, what means that the plugin should recognize it, but I'm pretty sure that it won't (fully) work in this first try. We will have to do intensive trying and testing.

Would you like to help me in making this device working?

i've been using irss now for some months and it's working pretty fine with my imon remote (Thermaltake DH101 case).
On a fresh install i had to remove the number buttons + esc + enter from the mp plugin because they are working all the time (even in windows) and if they are also "activated" in the mp plugin i did get double presses.
The only problem i have is that the remote always starts in mouse mode. I can switch to keyboard mode with the remote and it stays in that mode until the pc is hibernated or shut down.
Any idea why this is happening ?

This happened because IRSS in application mode didn't react on PowerEvents. In latest SVN this bug is solved.
(Same bug as my secound last post)

With this release I get an Error with TV Service after resuming: Coluld not connect!

I have to end MP & TV Server with Task Manager to get out of MP.

I've installed the new version, but now my imon remote isn't detected anymore. First time i just updated, second time i uninstalled the previous version and made a new install using application mode, but it's just not working.

I was using 3120 and had the "standby problem" and i wanted to see if it was fixed in the new release.

3210 was working fine (except standby) and now after installing 3120 imon is not detected any longer
