If you read the other posts or use search function you would already have an explanation AND a solution.

Seems you are using a HID device... So try the following:
    - Close iMON Manager (no need for have it running anymore, but has to be installed because minidisplay is using the driver which comes with iMON Manager)
    - Start IRSS (IR Server for HID)
    - Configure iMON plugin to your remote type ("Remote:" -> "iMON" or "MCE"). With "iMON" selected choose "Remote Pad mode" -> "Keyboard" or "Mouse" and if you wish to check "Enable mouse/keyboard switch (iMON PAD)"
    - Uncheck "Enable keyboard input"
    - Uncheck "Handle keyboard locally"
    - Uncheck "Enable mouse input"
    - Uncheck "Handle mouse locally"

    Give it a try :)

    Good luck, belcom.

    Hello,

I have a Problem with Translator OSD: After executing Button for "Show Translator OSD" it appears, but don't gets fokus. If any other window was opended it's behind / at the backround.

What can I do to get the Fokus to OSD, so I can contrl it with Remote?

    BERND

    Hello,

I still have the Problem, that after a while, server does not react and I have to restart Server (and MediaPortal).

Can changing ImonSoftware (actualy using 7.4) have effect on this? Could it be worth to test update to 7.6 / 7.61 ?

It's quite frustrating, that everything is doing fine and at least it's fails because of such a thing! :(

Please post all logs from \ProgramData\IR Server Suite\Logs and they should be from same session!

Well, I did attach the logs to the first posting. Meanwhile I did reinstall XP and upgraded to alpha, but no change.

If these logs aren't enough I will get some "frech" ones.

If MP is closed and I open the debugger no comand is recognized or a entry to the log made.

Are you testing with newest test build? And yes, I would need ALL logs from SAME session!

I just updated to 1.4.2.3009 and there was no reaction to any Button :(

    2009-07-14 19:06:59.250000 - System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Die Datei "C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Anwendungsdaten\IR Server Suite\Input Service\iMon USB Receivers.xml" konnte nicht gefunden werden.

    Maybe the reason?!?

For today I will go back to the Version before, it did well yesterday evening...

You have a firmware version which is new to us.
That it works with older builds is just a bit of luck.
I will try to make your device work like it should, but I need your help!

Look up through the posts here, there is a manual for Bus Hound.
In first, please do one bushound for each the startup of iMON Manager in iMON PAD and then in MCE Mode.
Then do a bushound for switching between iMON PAD and MCE while iMON Manager is running.

    Thx a lot!

    MPControl Plugin - Fundamental understanding?

PS: Sorry about the double post...

Okay, I"m going to try and details this as best one can, because quite frankly I am confused.

First things first, I have removed all previous versions of IRSS (even through User\AppData) and have successfully installed the latest IRSS 3009 with the "IR Server.exe" rather than the "IRSERVICE" as I am using an HID IMON device. The system is correctly reading the remote, both keyboard and mouse modes are working flawlessly. Translator is also working just fine... The problem I'm having is quite simple, I am not able to accurately create proper mapping for MPControl Plugin..

1.. Once in "mediaportal control plugin" I clear all entries and add "IMON Pad" from the pull down menu. Worth noting before even adding a remote the "Map Buttons" box is not greyed out, which I would have thought would be the case...

2.. Expanding the IMON Pad correctly shows the appropriate IR Codes and allows to to reassign if need be...

From here is where I am confused... As one would expect you would highlight the "IMON PAD" and select "Map Buttons"... What I get instead is an MCE Style mapping system which is useless to me as it does not even cross reference most of the buttons... For instance the "IMON PAD" has the "OPEN" button, next to the "PLAY" button... The MCE mapping template does not have this...

Thinking that maybe the template had not been created for IMON PAD I attempted to clear the current template and build my own from scratch, with no prevails.. I'm able to add functions two layers from the main tree for instance "Power TV - All layers - no conditions" but can not create the "Power TV" in the first place. So for instance I can't create of "Open" function that the IMON PAD has...

I was expecting the "Mapping Buttons" function to be an extension of the current remote selected, you can have more than two remotes in the main window added, should you not be able to have two remote mapping templates coinciding with these remotes...

Am I completely missing some thing here?

    - stop imon and irss if running
    - bus hound: select Devices and select the parent USB of your imon HID device
    - bus hound: capture - click start
    - start imon
    - bus hound: click stop and save it to start imon.txt
    - bus hound: click start again
    - imon: select MCE Remote instead of imon pas
    - imon: select IMON Pad again instead of MCE
    - bus hound: click stop and save it to switch IMON MCE IMON.txt

    - upload these both txt files here => ready :)

I tried to bushound like described, but had problems with start/stop of bushound: After starting there was just a "ping" and it stoped. So I made extra Start after switching between Pad/mce Mode. Hope you have all you need...

Thank you very much for the support!
