You have tried to add sources multiple times. This is not possible. And you need to enter the credentials for accessing the SMB shares in settings > server settings before!!! you add a share.
Best would be to stop the MP2-Server, remove the old database in "C:\ProgramData\Team-Mediaportal\MP2-Server\database\datastore.s3db" and start from scratch... If no database file exists, a new one is generated on MP2-Server start...

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ?
MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo.
