Use iTunes Movie Trailers in OnlineVideos plugin, it allows setting a percentage to be buffered before playback starts (all other functionality is equal to MyTrailers, same author for the site).
Your internet connection speed does not matter if Apple is not giving data as fast as would be needed for playback.
