Hi.

Is it possible to trigger the import of tv series, e.g. through a .bat file?

Hope someone knows how...

I was hoping that it was possible to start the process externally, so that the episode information is already loadet when I open mediaportal.

I run an automated download, rename and move of episodes, would be nice if I didn't have to wait for the plugin to load the data, after opening mediaportal.

Why not leave mediaportal open or run a bat file to open after the renaming is done

Because I use the system for a lot things, it's not just a HTPC.
The whole point is to have it run hidden in the background, and not having to open all of mediaportal

Well, it is a mediaportal plugin, it's only really active when MP is loaded.
You could start the configuration of course and trigger an import from that (you can also only load the tv-series config without having to open MP config). But you will still need to manaulyl trigger an import.

That would work, but I haven't been able to find the location of the plugin itself so to speak.
Loading the configuration util should work, I could set up a macro to push the import button.
How do I launch the mp-tvseries config without opening the mediaportal config?

Maybe the developers could implement a "silent import" feature - much like TheRenamer has (therenamer.exe -fetch)

I made some updates to the Wiki page describing the <import> and <include> tags, including adding a couple of new xml examples. For the first example, I highlighted the example text and eventually found the location in the menus where I could select the CODE macro to have the example text formatted as a code example. So far, so good...
