Installing 1.1.0 (1 Viewer)

I'm looking to "upgrade" to 1.1.0 from 1.0.2

Do I have to completely uninstall 1.0.2 - or do I just download 1.1.0 and hit the "go" button.

Unfortunately no, you will need updated plugins\skins etc to work correctly, none of the old files are destroyed (backups are made under the MP directories), TVServer just re-uses the existing sql database.

This is to give everyone a hopefully stable system, old plugin db's and thumbs should be able to be returned to there original folders, as MP's own video\audio, but then we would rather you rescan, just to tell us whats not working correctly

I upgraded last night, and installed my plugins again. I just transferred the old plugin databases back to the relevant folders, along with the art work and it was all very smooth really.

I do like the revised TV Tuner -so much more user friendly, and the ability to group channels is superb - particularly as I seem to have over 700 scanned in from the satellite card - I just need to get the groups in a logical order now and get the EPG working properly.
