Does anyone have any updated/recommended settings they would like to share (I'm running 1920x1080 resolution)?

Separately, I'm getting really forgetful so not sure if it was like this before (or whether it should be like this), but the IFC plugin appears in both the Windows and Process plugin sections in the MePo config app??

Hi J,

yes IFC is two in one, the IFC GUI (Window) and the Beast it-selfs (Process)
The GUI is only for configuration within MP.

This plugin is great, but I have a problem with zoom:
Windows 7 x64 + Mediaportal 1.1 RC5

On TV I've selected "non liear stretch", and in videos "original".

With IFC active, If I watch a Movie (video) it's all ok (it remains with no stretch "original"). Now, If I go on TV (and watch a TV channel), I see that the zoom now is on "stretch" and not on "non linear stretch" as configured in the MP setup.
If I go back to video section and I watch a movie, there is not the "original" zoom, but the "stretch" (same as TV).

If I go on MP config, I see that TV and Video zoom has changed to "stretch".

So, If I watch TV, it screws up the zoom settings (also for videos).

Disabling IFC, this problem disapperas.
Is there anyting I can do?

For a correct Aspect Ratio (AR) detection, you have to use a decoder that provides and detects the correct AR within a stream. Example: ffdshow itself detects the correct AR only at the start of a stream/file, you have to install a decoder that detects an AR change within a stream/file, like DScaler.

What other codecs provide this function? eg. PDVD7,8,9,10 or Arcsoft or CoreAVC
Are there any that support DXVA of live TV and will detect the change in AR with live TV?

If so, can I suggest this is added to the wiki, thanks!

I've installed IFC at the suggestion of catavolt to deal with the problem of certain UK TV channels broadcasting in pseudo-16:9

I'm not sure how to configure IFC to deal with that problem, but at the moment in IFC config on the Advanced View Mode tab, whenever I click on one of the view modes to select it, I get an unhandled exception error which I've posted below:
