Server Plugin Problem

Hi cheezey,

I have a strange problem with Version 3.5 (maybe this is gone with 4.0 ;-)):
Everything was running fine for several month now.
Then I changed the destination folder for MP4s in the server setting of the transcode plugin to a different folder.

Since that time I do not get any automated trancodings running anymore.
There is no transcode_me.txt in the related directories (wether the new nor the old) and I do not get any transcoded movies.
The recording in original format ist there.

The only difference I see is that the new folder is on a network share (yes - its writable and mounted) like X:\somedir\

I do not get anything strange in the log or error files ....

any idea ?

Have you restarted your TV server or rebooted?

Several times but did not help.
is there a log where I might see something?

Also reinstalled did not help either!

Can you read the troubleshooting section of the wiki and post your logs.

Your transcode plugin is set to transcode at 1am, can you schedule a recording for tonight and then repost your tv.log in the morning?

The last entry in error.log is stange.
I already changed the path to one without spaces but did not help either -> same error message.

Can you confirm you can create the file 'M:\My Videos\temp\transcodeme.txt' and write to it.

The error indicates the plugin cannot create this file in this path.
