My Music

Hello,

i have added a path to many albums in mediaportal and can access these with mp.
But in ipimp i only get one album, not more.
How do i get the rest ?

With films the same, but there is no film available in ipimp.

iPiMP uses your MediaPortal music & movies databases, make sure you have scanned your movies & music so they get into those databases.

Yeah, i have now 53000 tracks in the database and it is very fast.

I am impressed.

But how can i change the settings for :

get rid of the "load more". I want to see the whole list, ever.


And a big issue, i can´t activate the queue, the switchboxes from each track are out of function,
same with random or playlist...

You want to see 53000 tracks in one list? This will result in the following.....

1. It will take a very long time to build a list that long (that's why you can browse music by artist / album / year / genre / search term).
2. It may crash Safari
3. Your fingers will start to bleed with all the scrolling you have to do.

But....if you want to the list size can be set in Administration -> iPiMP Setiings -> Select page size this allows you to change it to 5 10 20 or 50. If you want to change it to something else then you'll have to open C:\program Files\iPiMP\Aspx\web.config and edit the PAGESIZE setting to something very big.

As for the shuffle/enqueue buttons - these look like sliders, they are not! Try tapping them instead (this is number 1 on the iPiMP wiki - Tips & Tricks).

haha, no, not all 55000.

The sorting is good, but when i click Interpret, then A, i want to see ALL interprets with A
without "load more".

Phew - you should be OK just changing the list size as described in the post above.

Can't watch recordings

Hi Cheesy,

I can't watch recordings in version 4 (this also did not work for me in version 3.5).

Recordings are immediately transcoded using the deafult settings. The .mp4 video files can be played when I navigate to the folder in which they are stored on my Vista MediaPortal Machine.

When I press WATCH (under a recording's page) I get a new page with the title, date and time. Under that there is a white frame in which the thumnail of the recording is shortly displayed and then that gets replaced by a quicktime 'tile' which has the quicktime logo in the right bottom corner and in the middle there is a play button striped out. Under this frame there is the following text:

Wait until the Quicktime arror appears befoire playing.

Whatevere I do... I can't get the video to play
(I also tested this in Firefox, same result)

Any idea's?

I have attached the logs.
