I've uninstalled iPIMP 3.5 and now tried to install iPIMP 4 (tv server only) but while installing i get the following error:
"GACUtil install failed - Reason: -8"

and then:
"iPIMP Apache Service Start fehlergeschlagen - Grund: -8"

I'm using Vista x64 and MP SVN.

disaster123 - Can you read the troubleshooting section of the wiki and post some logs. Thanks

hi cheezy, again thanks for this amazing plugin. At the moment I am using MP Beta 1.1.0. Would you recommend to downgrade MP to 1.0.2 for using ipmp?

winniwinter - There are known issues with iPiMP & the Beta MP's, e.g. you cannot schedule a recording. There may be others. So it depends on what you want to use iPiMP for. If you find something in iPiMP you need but doesn't work with your version of MP then yes - downgrade to 1.0.2

iPiMP will be updated to support MP 1.1.0 closer to the 1.1.0 release date.

OK if you need a betatester? :) I'll give it a try - compiling it myself using google SVN is no problem for me.

I recently installed ipimp on my mp tv server and can connect and use it with ipimp, I've also added the client plugin to my two htpc's, but here starts my problems; I don't see the Add Client option in the administration menu of iPimp so I cant add and control my client installations.

Any suggestions on what might be the problem?

I've search the thread but not found any relevant information.

    (Latest MP version)

    ((A truly excellent plugin/software btw))

You only have access to add MediaPortal clients in the Administration menu if you have the admin role assigned. Are you signed in as an admin?

2 screenshots below - one logged in without the admin role one with.

Yes, I've tried both the pre-configured admin-account and a newly created account with all privileges with no luck.
(I see the iPIMP settings option, but not the add client option)

I'll look into why soon - but in the meantime edit your c:\program files\ipimp\aspx\web.config and change USEMPCLIENT to true.
