yes! but it don't work......
:confused::confused::confused::confused::(

Castellaneta - What happens if you create a new user and try to login with that?

I'm at a loss really as to what the problem could be - it sounds cookie related. You could try to clear all cookies, ensure accept cookies is on, reboot your iPhone and retry. If that doesn't work then I don't know what else to try. :(

Well I didnt do much.. in 3.5 when I searched for tv programs, it worked fine. Then I installed 4.0. Since then no matter what I search it finds "nothing".
Besides that I didn't change anything in MP.

Micha123 - Can you read the troubleshooting section of the wiki and post some logs (after trying some searches).

Try a few different searches e.g. artist, album, track.

below it says searching with the "working" symbol just turning and turning.. and never stops.

Micha123 - yes - it does that - it's not actually searching it's just a layer of the web page that doesn't get hidden if you go back. If you click the search button again on the top right, it'll take you back to the search input page.

Hmmm.. I haven't included any music etc. in MediaPortal yet.. I'm just using it for TV right now.
But I'll read the wiki and look for the logs.

In which logfile would I find probably something about the searches?

There's your problem. iPiMP uses the MediaPortal music and movie databases. If they're empty then you'll not see anything. Import your music in MediaPortal config and they'll show up in iPiMP.

Sorry, if I didn't express myself clearly:
I'm not trying to search any music, so that's not my problem.

I'm searching in the EPG data.. which worked with iPIMP 3.5. There when I searched for "Anna" it would show me any tv programs containing this word.
Now with 4.0 it doesn't show anything.

So that's my problem, not the music or the movies.

Hi cheezey

the i used your config file (overwrite the old & reboot the system) but nothing changed.

chucky2002 - Can you try it in a desktop browser in Google Chrome? See if that works OK.

You could also try a repair on your .NET 2.0 - there may be something amiss there - you should also ensure you have the latest .NET service pack.

Micha123 - strange, the code for search hasn't changed that much between 3.5.0 & 4.0.0. Can you access your iPiMP over the internet? If so could you create me a login to see for myself what is happening? If not could you use firebug & firefox to see what's happening, we need to have a look at the full URI called when you make a search request.

Trade in your Palm Pre for a funky iPhone ? :sorry:

I shall think on and try a couple of other things - as I said this works with a PRE emulator on my dev machine, so why does it not work with yours? Which Palm Emulator do you use?
