iPhone interface for MediaPortal (iPiMP) - original thread (now closed) (9 Viewers)

I searched the Thread and the FAQ on your Site and the Known issues, but i dont find any solution or hint for my problem.

I use an Samsung Galaxy with the normal Android Browser which should work. But i get several Erros.

My Videos -> All Videos leads to

FUBAR

You mean if i can use other menue entries like My Videos - > Videos by Genre ? No i dont

Remote Control does not work neither "Send a Message" or restart.

Mediaportal works except for Ipimp. I installed google chrome to test ipimp from my deskto and it wont work too. Maybe something on my htpc affect ipimp.
I think ill give W7 + MediaPortal + Ipimp a try.

the fubar site appears on all movies, if the MP is not fast enough to start it.

The resume page i can press ok from the remotepage of the touch, but it is impossible to change the
answer of resume yes/no.

God bless you for making this awesome plugin! I have been trying it out for about an hour now.

Is iPiMP compatible with "For The Record" ? I have come to depend on the excellent interface, versitile scheduling control and more sensible menu options that For the Record Provides. If you are not using FTR, you are really missing out.

But as far as I am able to tell, iPiMP doesn't recognize the TV listings, recorded programs, or scheduled recordings that FTR provides. If you could get iPiMP to co-operate with FTR, a lot of FTR users would be very happy

But for now, it seems I am stuck with the dilema of not using FTR to its full potential, or not using iPiMP to its full potential. Ugh!

I love both of these great programs! Can't they all just get along?

Please tell me you will think it over!

Dracul - So nothing works it does sound like something with your setup. Read the troubleshooting section of the wiki and post some logs, I'll have a look and see if there's anything in there.

Keneo - You're not the first and probably won't be the last to ask for 4TR support. I don't use 4TR which is why it continually gets bumped to the bottom of the to do list, there are so many other things I want to get into iPiMP and it's only me developing it. I have open sourced the code ipimp - Project Hosting on Google Code in the hope that others will offer to help.

It' much simpler than it seems!
You dont need to install anything on your mobile phone, as far as you have already a webkit compatible Browser installed.
