hey cheezy,

one question: i use a dedicated tv-server and i want to have access to my music without installing the mp client on the server. i have installed my mp-dbs for my music, pictures,... on the server and configured all my mp-clients to use this centralized dbs over the network. is it possible to configure ipimp for using this dbs too? so i dont need to install the mp-client on my server ;)

nicx...

iPiMP uses the MP client binaries to access whichever DB your MP client uses so you should be OK with your setup.

is this a planned feature? ;) with gemx' stream-plugin this is working great.

thanks,
nicx...

I've certainly got streaming movies and music from a MP client in plan. I would like to use gemx's plugin when it's a bit more stable/robust, it's certainly the way to go.

Hi, cheezey!
Can you explain me how does it works? :) I have used XBMControl with XBMC and after I have pressed any button there was no delay, more quickly then with my IR- remote. But with your program it's so hard to work. The response time depends on congestion of the traffic (Utorrents for example) and delay about 500ms - 1 sec. Why you use web-based interface? I have been surprised when have understood that for control of the MediaPortal there is only this program. Can you help me to solve my problem?

P.S. Sorry for my English.

Whats about MP1.1-Support? Thanks, Thomas

tringler - iPiMP will support MP 1.1 when MP 1.1 is released.

Sergeleon - It's a web app because I don't know objective-c and have no skills to write a native iPhone app.
