Hi,

So I gather that this application can be used on any smartphone with a web browser, e.g. Android, Palm, WinMO or Maemo - is that correct?

If so, where are the instructions and downloads?

I've searched this thread, but haven't found the information I'm looking for.
Thanks.

Have you read the first post & the wiki?

Yes, I did and I initially thought it was only for the iPhone, but when I searched the thread, I found a posting which suggested it could be used on an Android phone.
So this is intended as an iPhone app firstly, but can be used with some web browsers...is that right?

mattbuffey - what version(s) of .NET do you have? (run dir %windir%\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v*.* /b)

Cheezey, results below:

v1.0.3705
v1.1.4322
v2.0.50727
v3.0
v3.5

Thanks!

Cheezey,

Have you had any thoughts on my particular problem?

Is there a list of stuff I need to have installed before ipimp will work? I've looked on the wiki and can't find one.

Thanks, Matt

    Hi,

I just ordered a new iPod Touch and started testing this. However, I'm having some problems with my setup:

I have dedicated MP & TVServer (MP 1.0.2) on my HTPC which I installed iPimp onto. I'm accessing the interface through my workstation via WLAN and Google Chrome. My Music is giving me some headache, for example "Music playlists" always gives me the following error (see the attachment)

It's a bit annoying, because it actually crashes the whole MP and I have to restart it. Any logs I can post to help?

Yes - read the troubleshooting section of the wiki.

And, do you have any playlists?

Logs attached to previous post. No, I don't think I have any playlists so it is probably causing the index out of bounds exception.

As a feature I would like to have a "Current playlist" somewhere, which I think doesn't exist in the current version? And of course an easy way to add music items to current playlist.

seco - That's the issue, it has previously been reported and has already been fixed, it will be in the next release. You can workaround the issue by creating a playlist.

mattbuffey - can you complete the following:
    1. Rename C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\process\MPClientController.dll to MPClientController.old
    2. Download this MPClientController.dll and copy in to C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\plugins\process
    3. Recreate your issue and repost your logs
    4. Delete the debug MPClientController.dll and rename your MPClientController.old back to MPClientController.dll

    Hello Cheezy,
sorry that I get back to you so late. Anyways I don't have my iPimP on the internet right now, so I can't give you acces ATM. I'll try as soon as I have time to fiddle with my router to allow this.

Anyways, I still have a few problems with iPIMP:
    1. I still cannot find any TV programs with the search whatsoever.
    2. Even though I say "remember me" I ALWAYS have to log in again. I tried everything: Allowing all cookies in Safari, adding a new user in iPIMP, etc. nothing helped.
    Why doesn't it work?
    3. Most programs I record show up in the recording menu, but some just don't - even they're in the same recordings directory on the disk and I can find them in MP.
    4. I can't transcode. In the error log is this error:

FFmpeg version Sherpya-r15666, Copyright (c) 2000-2008 Fabrice Bellard, et al.

I'm clueless how to solve those problems... can you help me?
