georgius, ok, so, next time it occures i would record this channel and trying to see it in vlc. But channel will be recorded not as udp stream but as tswriter stream? How can we handle what the problem really is?
Or if debug option is checked (row ts) that means thar udp stream will record?

Actually there will be two recorded streams: one from IPTV filter (in log directory) and one from TsWriter (in timeshift directory). Than we can see if problem is in stream or in IPTV filter.

Hi georgius! I don't make any investigations yet, but I found an option "Don't drop discaunted packets" in MP config, with this option i can see artefacts some time, but never can see any freezes. Will investigate it later more deeper.

    Hi,

I have setup your update IPTV filter, but I still have problems regarding a specific configuration that I have. I was hoping for a helpful response. So this is the situation:

    - Mediaportal behind a Router that allows Multicast,
    - The LAN network card on it is bridged to the OPENVPN Tap adapter,
    - I have added a loopback adapter on the machine as per instructions for a single seat setup,
    - Playing TV streams with VLC works on this machine, so I assume that the problems is either Playlist syntax or network configuration.

I have attempted playing entries in the playlist

    udp://localIP@221.22.1.1:5000
    udp://221.22.1.1:5000

Any Ideas? I am using 1.2.0 BETA MP, the firewall is disabled. This setup also worked when I connected the other NIC directly to the internet. :D

Here are the logs, what I tried:

    - Channel 1 written in format udp://ipofchannel:5000
    - Channel 2 written in format udp://ipLaN@IPofchannel:5000

    regards, Simon

    Hi,

I look in your logs and it seems that you have wrong channel addresses. For example in logs you have first address udp://192.168.2.200@239.1.1.9:5000/, where receiving data was unsuccessful. But also you have udp://239.1.1.9:5000, where was received 17005352 bytes of data. So you have to remove first part of address from your playlist. If these addresses are not in playlist in this format, are you using some improvement specifying network interface? Because the first part of address (as you wrote ipLaN) is not network interface address but it have different meaning.

    Hi,

yes, entries are different as I put the "Interface" setting in TV configuration on "auto". Should it be set to the LAN or the Loopback adapter? 192.168.2.200 is the IP of the loopback adapter.

    192.168.2.55 is the Bridged adapter.

No matter what I set, I never get a signal in TV configuration...

    Hi,

I look again and you have same problem as I with unspecified service type. Just read this thread and on last page you have patch DVB-IP scanning workaround v1.patch. And also use "Auto" for "Interface" setting.

    Hey,

I'm sorry, but how do I apply the patch, I tried using TortoiseSVN to apply it, but it doesn't find the file?

    Hi!

I have read in the change log in the development thread that there has been some fixes regarding CA/MDAPI support for IPTV. Is it possible to use a USB CA interface and a CAM together with the IPTV filter? How would I eventually configure a solution with IPTV and hardware CAM?

    Regards,
    PK
