how would you connect 2 STBs to the modem with only TV-Port.
I think its not possible to use a switch to connect 2 STBs to the modem. Thats the way hansenet sovles that problem 
You have to keep in mind that hansenet uses multicast to serve the stream. You "send" the request to 233.*.*.*:1234 ("send" is not the right word, you just join the group with that adress and port). Then the stream is sent to your pc/stb from a different ip adress, but always with the same destination port. I think its port 4000. So you get all streams on port 4000, and your pc only has one port 4000
But: All information I discovered myself while I worked on the dx-filter. Saying this, I'm not 100% sure about that. I remember reading that it is not possible to connect 2 STBs somewhere in alices documention - and again not 100% sure. If you think its different, please let me know, I would really like to get more than 1 stream, too. Perhaps its a good idea to call the alice hotline...
