There's a new version of IR Server Suite to coincide with MP-II Infinity being released.
The IR Server is now a windows service. It's now "Input Service".
You will need to uninstall your old version of IR Server Suite before installing this new version.
This version has no real new features, just some very minor bug fixes and the change to a Windows Service.
It will however as a side-effect improve the IRTrans support slightly (due to a file name similarity being removed)
As always, please post back with any bugs. I'm trying to get this as stable as I can leading up to the new year because I want to release a 1.0 version to accompany MediaPortal 1.0.0.0 ... whenever that happens...
Install the latest test version and then in the TV2 or TV3 blaster plugin (depending on what your setup is) load in the Quick Setup Option called "Dreambox HTTP TEST".
You'll need to modify the two HTTP commands it loads up to include the address of your Dreambox and the username and password required to access it over the network.
Once you've done that see if it will change channels with the test button.
Now, I don't have one of these things so this may not work at all, but if you're willing to go through a bit of trial and error we might be able to get it working.
Also, what type of Dreambox do you have? Can you tell me any more about it?
I've done some further investigations, and this isn't going to work ... I could make it work for maybe 10 channels but that's it... It needs additional logic that is not present at the moment...
I'll go back to the drawing board and see what I can figure out, but you should look at available alternatives in the meantime...
It looks like I would need to add a lot of specialised code to work with Dreambox's by their Network connection.
